Flexible To Twin Wall Adapter 150mm Convesa. This adapter is used to connect 150mm flexible flue liner at the bottom to 150mm KC twin wall insulated chimney at the top.

When extending a previously shortened chimney stack use with a console plate.

Application

For use on solid fuel and gas/oil appliances. eg: wood stoves, gas coal effect fires, oil boiler and any solid fuel appliances.

Construction

Outer skin is made from 304 grade stainless steel and is 0.4mm thick. The Inner skin is made from 316 grade stainless steel and is 0.4mm thick. Insulation is compressed rockwool giving a density of 128kg per cubic metre. All parts are fully welded.

Distance to combustibles is 60mm.

Installation Check List

This adapter is used to connect to flexible flue liner to KC twin wall insulated flue, when fitting you should make joint good with fire cement KC Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts are secured togrther by using a Locking Band.

Make sure that you keep a distance of 60mm from the outside of the flue to any combustible material (wood, plaster board). When connecting the Flue Liner to the adapter use 3 stainless steel screws (not supplied), and then seal all around using high temperature sealant of fire cement.

Maintenance

It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.
