Mira Electric Showers
Mira Electric Showers Sale Now On with Fast Delivery to your door. Find out More

Mira has a range of electric showers from the budget range to the hi spec end of the market. A well known brand the Mira leads the way in the shower market place.

Electric showers only take water from the mains cold mains water supply. They heat the water when you turn the shower on, by passing it over a heating element inside the shower - in a similar way to how a kettle works. When you shower, you don't use up and stored hot water - so electric showers are ideal for families and households where there is a limited supply of hot water. Electric showers are always ready to use, any time of the day or night. *With its integral pump, Mira Elite ST has all the convenience of electric showering but from a low pressure stored supply.

By developing innovative products

As our products harness water and energy, we occupy a privileged position in being able to help others cut their carbon footprint. By delivering products that use water and energy as efficiently as possible, we can help our customers act responsibly towards the environment.

For instance, our Eco showerhead harnesses innovative Mira technology to use up to 75% less water, while still delivering the same feeling of a wet, drenching flow. And because the showerhead uses less water, it takes less energy to heat the water too. Visit or ‘Eco Calculator to see just how much our Eco Showerhead could save you.

The BMA as the lead trade association for manufacturers of bathroom products in the United Kingdom has developed the Water Efficient Product Labelling Scheme.

The Scheme raises awareness of bathroom products that when installed and used correctly use less water, therefore saving water and energy, whilst delivering the showering and bathing experience we have come to expect.

Many of Mira's products now meet the criteria of the Water Efficiency Scheme, and can be easily identified by the BMA logo.

Whether you're aiming to improve rather than move, or you're looking to sell to make much needed cash, adding value begins in the bathroom.

Nationwide research by Mira Showers has shown that 84% of people believe that a new bathroom adds value to a home, with women placing particular importance on this room (86%).

Furthermore, the survey of 1,000 UK adults also showed that with the maze of plumbing, tiling and electrics, it's the room people least fancy giving a makeover to themselves -- just 17% of respondents would choose to take on a bathroom revamp.

The results of the poll also showed that a new bathroom is more important to homeowners and property buyers in certain parts of the UK. Scots place the most value on this (89%), followed by those in the North of England (87%), Wales and Central England (both 86%).

Roger Crabb, Mira Showers said:

"For those looking to sell in the current tough market, the addition of a new bathroom is a simple way to add value to a property for buyers, as our research shows they are not keen to renovate this space themselves. A nice bathroom could really make or break a sale and needn't be an entire suite re-fit. Similarly for those staying put and after an update, there are a number of simple ways to renew your bathroom.

"On a budget, the addition of a new handset breathes a new lease of life into any existing shower, or for those able to spare a little more, a new shower can give a room an instant update, and can often be easy enough to fit yourself. Similarly, replacing a tired bath with an up to date low profile shower tray can give a modern look for just a few hundred pounds. Other solutions such as a new shower enclosure, or installation of wall panels -- a shortcut to new tiling -- can make a massive difference, even in a small space."

Just five years ago the idea of wireless internet, high definition ultra thin TV’s and even intelligent ovens and appliances were beyond the realms (as well as budgets) of all but the most forward looking techno-wizards.

But today our homes are packed to the rafters with incredibly clever appliances and gadgets that are no longer sci-fi dreams, but affordable household essentials.

Easy does it

When Apple released the iPhone it generated unprecedented levels of interest – and not just from gadget fans – because they’d managed to create something incredibly technical with the emphasis not so much on what it can do, but on how it does it. The intuitive nature made it a pleasure to use whatever your age or level of interest in technology.

The Sky+ TV system is another great example of the way new technology is enhancing our lives without confusing us. Amazingly we can now record, pause and rewind live TV all from a simple to use remote control. It really doesn’t matter how this incredibly useful technology works, just as long as it does.

Part of the furniture

Today’s home technology is not just about pocket gizmos and black boxes under the TV - integrated networks can give us amazing control over our homes. Set the perfect lighting for your return from work, enjoy music in every room wirelessly, even send messages to your washing machine or check on house via web cams from anywhere in the world.

The Crestron controller allows you to control the heat, light, TV and even the curtains from a single remote control.

Integrated systems are not for showing off; they’re practical additions to your home that make it a more efficient enjoyable place to be.
