Mira Jump Retrofit

The all new Mira Jump electric shower has been designed to make it easy to fit when replacing a Triton Aqualisa shower that has a right hand inlet. The Mira Jump cold water inlet is on a swival so the direction of the cold water mains inlet can be from the right hand or the left hand with minimual fuss and pipe alteration.

Mira showers are WRAS approved, BEAB approved.

Mira Jump electric showers have separate controls for heater selection and for temperature/flow adjustment. A unique flow regulator stabilises any temperature changes caused by water pressure fluctuations, which can result from taps being turned on or off or toilets being flushed.

Mira Vie electric showers need to be mains water fed only and are made for Domestic and light commercial use. For domestic installations the Mira Vie comes with a 2 year warranty and for Non-domestic installations comes with a 1 year.

The electrical installation must comply to BS 7691 Requirements for Electrical Installations (commonly referred to as the IEE Wiring Regulations Part 7, or any particular regulations and practices, specified by the local electricity supply company) in force at the time of installation.

Plumbing requirements

Minimum maintained inlet pressure for satisfactory operation: 8.5 kWand 9.5 kW: 70 kPa (0.7 bar). 10.8 kW: 100 kPa (1.0 bar).
Maximum static inlet pressure: 1000 kPa (10 bar).
Minimum static pressure to keep the flow valve closed: 50 kPa (0.5 bar).

Electrical requirements

The 8.5 kWand 9.5 kWappliance requires a 40 Amp fuse.
The 10.8 kWrequires a 45 Amp fuse.
The terminal block will not accept cable larger than 10 mm2.
The Mira Vie is suitable for installation in Zone 1 and is rated IP X4.
