The most common type of radiators today are the type that are attached to the wall, are plumbed into the central heating system and are controlled individually via a thermostatic radiator valve. Then there is the electric radiator, these are simply wired into the households electricity supply, this type of radiator are energy efficient and have the added benefit of not requiring any maintenance such as bleeding regularly.
Things To Consider Before Buying:
How much heat out put you require.
Style - modern/contemporary or traditional?
Radiator fuel type - electric or plumbed in.
Wall space, would a horizontal radiator make the best use of space or maybe you want to place it under the window, therefore you would need a horizontal radiator.
And of course budget!
