Stainless Steel Twin Wall Insulated Flue
Twin wall is used for installations through walls and it is constructed with two pipes as the name suggests, with a layer of insulation between them. So if your property does not have a chimney you will need twin wall pipe and fittings. Twin wall parts are secured together by using a locking band, make sure that you keep a distance of 60mm from the outside of the flue to any combustible material (wood, plaster board.) No two installations are the same as each property if different and will require different amounts of bends etc to complete the flue run, this is why we have a comphrehensive range of fittings, including bends and roof brackets to support the flue system.
Many people fit their own wood burning stoves and some employ a registered “HETAS” installer. Others self install using Building Control (a department in your local Council). Some also choose to do it themselves without involving any authority at all. Need Help?
