The Dimplex X1S 1.2kW Electric Inset Fire finished in black is 1.2kW heat output with a unique Optiflame Plus effect. It has electronic thermostatic control giving highly accurate room temperature control.

It is designed to fit 16 and 18 inch fireplaces and all conventional flues and fits flat-to-wall with a 70mm spacer. It has manual or remote control giving armchair selection on/off.

Its stylish aesthetic has coal and small white pebbles supplied as standard and the flame effect can be used independently of heat source, so you can create a warm atmosphere without having to change the heat.

Very neat and contemporary fire, especially as it doesn't have a canopy as most electric fires have. Fits perfectly into my limestone fireplace and gives the room a very welcoming feel

Dimplex sx1s-an excellent product.

Cheapest by miles! Saw this model in b&q on sale for £200 but it had sold out so on searching the internet found in with snh for £149 including delivery. Bargain! Delivered quickly and is just what we have been looking for (took over 3 years to find one we both agreed on!)Thankyou snh.

Outstanding Value & Service

Lovely fire and perfect for our new Limestone Fireplace - very sleek and modern and we like the fact that you can alternate between coals or pebbles. Possibly the cheapest on the internet and considering the company supplying our fireplace quoted us £355 for the same fire we think we've got an absolute bargain. Cannot fault the service from SNH - the fire was ordered on Sunday 10th and was delivered in perfect condition, as promised on Wednesday 13th. Great customer service - can't thank you enough.

Good looking and practical

I choose to replace a rather ugly electric fire with this product in a modern setiing fireplace and chose to have it inset so there is minimal protusion. It looks great, love the flame effect, the thermostat tempertaure control and remote all at a great price. Highly recommended for a modern fireplace setting.
