Disappointed.

This is a good looking stove, and the flame effect is reasonable. However, I am greatly disappointed with the log effect, which came up dull and lifeless. The colouring applied to the effect stopped about 90% of the light coming through making it seem dead.I am only too pleased that the alternative coal effect was also included. This was a vast improvement.

A stunning item!

This fire is a beautiful piece of furniture and it looks very authentic on our fireplace. For the money it is exceptional value compared to some more poorly designed items you can find in DIY stores etc. The delivery service was fast and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for value and quality.

Stockbridge Electric Stove

We are delighted with our purchase! We chose this model as it was slightly larger and heavier than the others, but there were only 5 reviews compared to the others, so we didnt have much to go on. However, it looks beautiful and is very realistic when switched on. We have it in our dining room which is 13ft square and we think it will be ample to keep the room warm. It also has thermostat control so you can vary heat within the 1-2 kw range. We also chose the stove pipe which finishes the whole look off

Dimplex stove fire

Thank you sarah, we are very pleased with the fire and of course the price was excellent value for money compared with other retailers. Delivery was within 30 hours and driver was very helpful. We are looking for a gas inset free standing fire for the living room and maybe you could oblige.

We purchased a Dimplex Stockbridge stove electric optiflame SKG20BL from SNH.
The quality is first rate.
we could have obtained this item cheaper from another supplier, but have had good reports of SNH so were happy to pay their price for good service.
The delivery was by one driver in a large van, the item was on a pallet and was dificult to to get into my home, by chance, I had a builder doing some work in my home, he was able to cut the parcel from the pallet and carry the parcel into my home. I don't know how I would have managed if the builder was not to hand.
