can this guard be used on a lit wood burning stove or fire

Good basic product which works well

This is the second fireguard i have bought, both the same as i was impressed by the quality of product for the price. Its basic, but thats what i was looking for and covers the span of the fire place. I would recomend this product to others though it obviously doesnt offer protection fully due to the open top which some people may not like.
