Elegant is the word

Delighted with quality, well made and looks really perfect on the cornish slate hearth of our stone fireplace. We have just purchased a multifuel stove and this companion set is the business, both in style and in use. Company itself was a joy to deal with. Speedy delivery, everything confirmed by e-mail and even given a one hour slot on delivery date, with the option to reschedule if this was not convenient. Brilliant !!!

Excellent Service

I ordered several items just before Xmas. To my surprise (and delight) they actually arrived before, as well! I was expecting them the following week. Most of the items seem to come from a Worcestershire based company - one hopes, then, that they're manufactured in the UK too, which is a nice bonus.

Everything is well made, and has a good solid feel. The one small surpise is that the companion set is self assembly. Everything is clearly labelled (even to extent of telling you which shaft is which), and it all screws together easily enough. My one minor quibble (not sufficient to detract from the 5 star quality rating) is that it's a bit diffcult to get enough torque on things to get them to stay tightened up. The poker, inevitably, is the most used item in the set, and the business end of it does have a tendency to come slightly loose.

Beyond that, I have nothing but praise for the quality of all the items I bought, the price, and the service was beyond reproach. In fact, I need to place an an order for a few more bits... Excuse me...
