Perfect accessory

This arrived very quickly, well packaged and the delivery charges were kept at standard rate although we live on the Isle of Wight and regularly are 'ripped off' by other companies who charge us a premium although we do have all the usual delivery agents here on a regular basis.
The hearth really sets off the appearance of the Brayford fire and will look lovely in my daughter's new flat.

A good price but 5 stars because snh went the extra yard with fast response and regular up-dates on progress of not only my order but also delivery.
Delivered on time (and exactly when stated).

dimplex hearth mat

We were intially woRried this would lookj cheap but once it arrived we were very impressed we needed to cut it size and it was very easy

Hurried Hearth

My fire and hearth arrived at 12.30 on the set delivery day. I signed "unchecked" as I had been advised to do. I opened the hearth and it was cracked right though the middle. I rang snh immediately and was told they would replace it. I also said it arrived with no notice of being fragile on the box, which for an item that is liable to break, didn't seem a good idea.
The lady I spoke to said she would try to get it to me the following day, and the broken one would be picked up at the same time.
Less than 24 hours later, at 10.30 the next morning, I took delivery of my repacement. The delivery man produced a box labelled "Glass, with care" and inside was a perfect hearth!!
So, well done to snh for their speed in replacing a damaged item, and for listening to suggestions.

Great addition

Bought as a base for an electric stove fire, really does look like real slate and saves fitting a full surround.
However the base was warped when received so the fire does not sit level on it, I am hoping that this will rectify itself after the weight of the fire as been on it for a few weeks.
Delivery and service was excellent.

An ideal extra to a fire

This really sets off our free standing electric fire. If you don't want a complete fire surround this is the answer.

Dimplex Slate Effect Hearth Pad - GREAT!

I am so pleased wth this item. I inherited a very nice wooden floor in my new house and was reluctant to install something that meant cutting it up. This slotted perfectly into the fire surround and looks as though it has always been there.

Very impressed with both the price and the end result!

dimplex hearth pad

Yes I was delighted by the manner in which my order for dimplex cheriton electric fire was delivered,very good. However the dimplex slate effect pad has still not arrived.

Hearth pad

Returned to SNH as too large and did not look right in my room. Product looked ok but I would have preferred to have a choice of size - smaller. Delivery came on two separate days as the fire ordered with it was sent to the wrong depot. I therefore had to stay at home for two days as the delivery firm could not give me a 'morning' or 'afternoon' time.
