The Dimplex Cheriton CHT20LE 2kW Electric Freestanding Fire finished in black with brass fret finish is 2kW heat output with a unique Optiflame Plus effect. With the added benift of LED lights, so the Flame effect only uses 14 watts of electric per hour when in use

It is designed to fit flat-to-wall

Its stylish aesthetic has coal supplied as standard and the flame effect can be used independently of heat source, so you can create a warm atmosphere without having to change the heat.

Is the LED flame effect same as the other Cheriton model ?

Concerned that LED's will be red as opposed to orange & thus flame & coal colours will be reddish & not be near to natural (real) fire colours which tend to be orange/yellow

Great Product

Cheriton Fire Model CHT20LE

Xmas is a very busy time, but my order came with in the 2-day time slot. I was more than pleased with the product and at a very competitive price. Also please compliment your carrier DPD as the tracking process was the best I have experienced ending finally with a 1-hour timeslot which was spot-on!

Flame effect

Generally speaking, this is a lovely looking fire but the flame effect is too yellow. A bit more red/orange would have been more realistic. Noisy Fan.

excellent & friendly service from snh. outstanding fire from dimplex . optiflame has to be the best fire effect in my opinion , the fire & its effect are totally pleasing to look at & unlike others I've had by other manufacturers it is totally silent in operation . I could not be happier , with the fire , the price & service from snh. highly recommended .

CHERITON LE ELECTRIC FIRE

Fire was ordered on a Saturday and I had to phone SNH on the next Wednesday/Thursday to see about delivery as I had heard nothing. Apparently there was a strike at the manufacturers and the fire was promised for the next Wednesday. It duly arrived without any hitches but it would have been nice to hear that it was going to be about a week late.

dimplex fire

1st rate service, 1st rate price, would reccomend SNH highly. Fan slightly noisy at first, coal effect good. Havn't yet used to heat room.

Dimplex Cheriton LE - Good value for money

Very happy with this. Looks great, and the flame effect is very realistic. The real coal supplied adds to the effect. With just flame effect it is almost silent, and still fairly quiet with heater on.
The low energy version is very economical to run, and the bulbs should never need replacing.
Service and delivery excellent from SNH.
